  • Are you a qualified Allied Health Professional wanting to return to practice?
  • Has your HCPC registration lapsed? OR did you train in the UK and never register?
  • Do you live local to Hounslow and Richmond or within commutable distance?
If you answered yes to the questions above, we’d like to hear from you!

Your skills and experience are needed more than ever before, and there has never been a better time to return to your profession.

We are keen to hear from the following professionals:
  • Dietitians
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Physiotherapists
  • Podiatrists
  • Speech and Language Therapists
We are offering supervised clinical practice as part of a structured Return to Practice programme, while working within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care in one of our community services.

This is specifically for qualified AHPs looking to regain their HCPC registration. We offer the following flexible part-time or full-time roles:
  • Paid fixed term contracts– you will be working as a therapy assistant with additional support required to complete your updating requirements for return to practice. This‘earn while you learn’can minimise the financial burden associated with a period of updating for re-registering
  • Voluntary honorary contracts– a more flexible working pattern is possible to fit around other life commitments. Your clinical work will focus on updating knowledge and skills required for re-registering
Our roles cover both Hounslow and Richmond boroughs. On receiving your enquiry, we will contact you to arrange an informal meeting to discuss your requirements and preferred contract.

From there we will approach teams within HRCH based on your previous experience and your preferred work area.

Community healthcare is unlike any other part of the NHS. It’s personalised care that helps people to retain their independence. It’s the NHS at its best and the difference you make is truly tangible.

Our colleagues often describe us as a family, and we know how important that sense of belonging and support is when you start a new job. It’s simple - happy, engaged staff provide better services.

In 2018, we were named ‘Best Place to Work for Employee Satisfaction’ by the Nursing Times. The same year, we won the Workforce category at the HSJ Awards.

In the latest NHS Staff Survey results 2020, we had the best response rate amongst community trusts nationally.

We are the top community trust in the country on the theme Quality of care for the third year. We had the highest percentage of staff who felt they are able to deliver the care they aspire to and are satisfied with the quality of care they give to patients or service users. If you enjoy a challenge and want to go home each day knowing you made a difference, you will thrive in our organisation.
