Salon Receptionist / Front of House

Hiro Miyoshi Hair and Beauty is recruiting! We have a new position available within the four high-end hair salons in the heart of Mayfair for a Head Salon Receptionist / Front of House. You will be working alongside our friendly and professional team to make sure every client has the perfect experience from the moment they enter the salons right until they leave. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate, professional, confident, and flexible to adapt to our salons and become a part of our amazing team.

This position will be Full-Time

Salon Shifts: 9am-8pm 40 hours/week

Salon Days: Monday - Saturday, 5 Day Working Week, Shifts will be Rotated

We would like to be clear that we work on a rota basis between two salons and the rota system changes every week and sometimes at the last minute so we would require someone that can be flexible with this.

Key Tasks

• Working between 4 salons
• Booking appointments face to face and via telephone, email and online
• Handling various booking apps
• General Admin work
• Answering inquiries and advising clients regarding the salon services available
• Opening and cashing up
• Handling stock control and liaising with suppliers
• Maintaining a high level of customer service with a positive attitude towards the clients at all times
• Looking after each stylist and the shop floors

Essential requirements:

• Relevant experience in the Hair/Beauty Industry
• Experience as a Hair Salon Receptionist or similar but passionate about hair & beauty is a must
• Fluent English in both speaking and writing
• Relevant Experience with Salon booking systems
• Ability to work with Microsoft Word, Excel and have a good general knowledge of IT
• Ability to manage people in a respectful manner is a must and your customer service has to be impeccable

Desirable:

• Ability to work confidently and effectively under pressure
• Patience and a calm attitude towards salon life
• Working with Shortcuts booking system
• Working experience in a luxury background is ideal
• Excellent communication skill with professional manners and understanding for clients as well as the colleagues
