Contessa Hotels are currently seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our teams at the Hillbark Hotel & Spa, Wirral, for its Food & Beverage department.

As a member of this team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service within our 5 star, 2 AA Rosette Riviera Restaurant, lounge and bar areas as well as to over 100 weddings and bespoke events across the year.

The ideal candidate will:

• Work as a hands on member of the team, communicating with kitchen, events and other departments, ensuring all standards are met with attention to detail

• Show enthusiasm and passion for delivering exceptional levels of customer care with an approachable and friendly manner

• Assist in maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the front and back of house areas of the hotel

• Assist in preparations and set-up for meetings and events

• Have the ability to work under pressure and multitask

• Have the ability to work under own guidance

• Have a positive “Can Do” attitude, a willingness to learn new skills and exceed the expectations of even the most discerning costumer while delivering excellence in service and hospitality!

• Possess a smart, pristine appearance to adhere to the company's uniform/presentation standards

It's preferable for you to have some experience in either bar, restaurant or banqueting but we are willing and committed to train and develop the skills of any candidate with a desire to learn, succeed and thrive in this industry where no 2 days are ever the same!

This is a full-time post, five over seven days per week for which you are provided with a full-time contract and numerous benefits and perks.

Part-time, fixed-hours positions may be considered - please enquire upon application.

Please note that the hours of work more often than not include weekends, and there will be late finishes on wedding and event functions, hence a flexible approach to work is essential.

Salary is dependent upon experience/or meets national minimum/living wage.
