An independent business based in York, Hebden Tea began in Hebden Bridge before moving to York in 2010. Since then, we have expanded our portfolio to include another shop on Minster Gates and now the Hebden Tea Experience situated on the Shambles.
This vacancy posting is for the Hebden Tea Tea Room and Shops. Flexibility and your commitment to work in all locations is essential.
We stock over 250 unique and distinctive blends of tea and tisanes from all over the world as well as a host of accessories and handmade items to make tea time a special occasion.

Hebden Tea Experience (our new tearoom) offers customers the chance to experience our entire catalogue of products according to the specific traditions associated with each tea.

We are looking for energetic, engaging and passionate people to work with us at the Hebden Tea Shop and Hebden Tea Experience.

- You must be local to York.

- Retail experience (sales) desirable.

- A keen interest in our product range and illustrate the desire to learn more.

- Strong work ethic.

- Excellent customer service skills and proactivness is essential.

- Physical (able to climb stairs frequently and safely lift heavy boxes when receiving or moving stock between shops).

- Flexibility with working hours.

Salary: £9.00-£11.00 per hour
