We are currently recruiting Health Care Assistants to join our friendly team to work in our 29 bedded nursing home for older adults with nursing and dementia needs. The shifts after training and induction will include day/ night shifts. During induction and training the employees are expected to work day shifts.
Job Description Overview
- Provide assistance to residents to help them meet both their health and social care needs. This includes support with personal care expected during the night,maintaining safety , and other duties regarding residents support at night.
- Enable residents to maximize independence as far as possible in all areas of their life.
- Understand the rights of the individual to have their wishes respected.
- Understand how to treat individuals with dignity and respect.
Hours Duties include some weekends,nights and days( open to discussion).

- Full permanent contracts given following successful completion of Probationary Period and the Care Certificate.

- You must have the right to work within the UK.
- Have good communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team.
- You need to be 100% committed to helping improve the quality of life of vulnerable adults.
- You must have a kind and caring nature.
- Be flexible with your availability for work
- You will be required to complete a full enhanced DBS check for this position.

Starting salary: £9.60 per hour (review undergoing)
