Health Partners are looking to recruit a Wellbeing Physiologists to work across BAE sites in Scotland – locations include Scotstoun and Govan.

This role is a 12 month Fixed Term contract which will include helping with the roll out of a new client project as well as Health Screening & Health Coaching.

Health Partners are looking for talented individuals from a range of backgrounds to support this unique and exciting project. Candidate backgrounds may include sports science, sports therapists, nutritional experts, sports rehabilitators and exercise physiology.

Some night work and weekend working may be required.

What you'll be doing:
  • Delivering lifestyle clinical assessments of patients
  • Providing evidence-based advice tailored to the patient’s health profile (adiposity, biochemistry, blood screening) and stage of behaviour change
  • Formulating and implementing written action plans based on treatment prescription, which is modified for the applicable stage of change
  • Setting positive and realistic goals coaching the patient to realise their potential
  • Giving assistance and reassurance to clients during their medical tests
  • Using specialised equipment to perform clinical physiological tests
  • Recording and analysing physiological data
  • Maintaining and calibrating equipment in line with HP Policy, reporting faults etc
  • Interpreting clinical data and assess patients’ clinical risk, making informed decisions whether to escalate to GP or OH practitioners for further investigation and management
  • Acting within the boundaries set out by the company’s policies to ensure sensitive personal information is protected as required by law, regulatory bodies, ethics and best practice.
  • Getting clients and equipment into correct locations and positions for events
  • Supporting key stakeholders in the design of strategic marketing campaigns
  • Empowering others to be accountable for their own health and wellbeing
  • Acting as a health and wellbeing role model, ambassador, and team player
  • Developing and promoting a culture of health and wellbeing first
  • Keeping knowledge up to date through continued research and commitment to learning
  • Acting in accordance with the company’s core values of diligence; honesty; exemplary customer service; professionalism; ethical and trustworthy behaviours. Valuing colleagues, customers and business partners, and taking responsibility for their actions.
