Video Editor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and hardworking Video Editor to join our Video team here at Harrods. The purpose of our Video Editor is to edit social-first content for Harrods social media channels.
About the Role
The role will involve creating and designing animated content and video for other digital channels including Harrods.com, the Harrods app, and the in-store digital screen network when required; plus, any other video projects to support Harrods departmental objectives such as for internal communications, Partnerships or PR.
You will work collaboratively with the Social Media Team to conceptualise and execute best-in-class social media video content. Video content requirements for this role primarily include a high volume of low-fi social videos. A passion for social-first video and understanding the different placements, tools and trends across social platforms is paramount.
About You
You will have experience within a similar role and be able to work closely with your team, whilst working to deadlines. You will take initiative with an adaptable and flexible approach as well as have exposure to different social platforms. You will also have great attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, embodying the Harrods brand values in all that you do.
You will also possess:
- Experience within a similar role.
- Awareness of social media platform editing tools and styles.
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficiency with editing software such as Premiere Pro.
- Experience in colour grading, sound design and video retouching.
