Junior Business Analyst - Technology

OVERVIEW:

We're expanding our Delivery function and looking for a enthusiastic and passionate Junior Business Analyst that has been immersed in the world of Technology.

As a Junior BA specialising in the Tech function, you will facilitate communication between stakeholders across Engineering, Digital Product, translating business needs into actionable plans.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Support the team to help them ensure that each problem or requirement being solved is ready for work and is broken down to be independent, valuable, estimable and testable.
• Ensuring that your team has context and understanding of Business and Customer needs to produce valuable solutions for the end user.
• Articulating technical realities to stakeholders of all levels (Technical and non technically focused).
• Producing and identifying the requirements of Stakeholders through conversations, document analysis, requirement workshops, business process descriptions, analysis, user cases, scenarios and workflow analysis.
• Map, analyse and document current and future complex business requirements using standard tooling and agreed standards, for Teams and Stakeholders to understand proposed solutions.
• With a data led approach and assistace from the Insights team, you will be articulating the value from solutions.
• Apply Design Thinking with the team to critically analyse and refine the problems and requirements we are solving - ensuring the solutions the team build are user focused and has consider different scenarios that can occur when building software.
• Work closely with the Product Owner, UX and Agile, Scrum Masters and agile teams to deliver outcomes to business-as-usual activities as well as larger business initiatives

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Essential Criteria:

• Technology and Digital industry experience.
• Significant experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
• You are someone who is not afraid to challenge and question points of view, regardless of stakeholder, to unearth requirements and help form the right solutions.
• Able to work flexibly and to tight deadlines.

This is a hybrid role and would require the successful candidate to attend at least 3 days a week in GSHQ, Solihull, UK.
