Self Employed Forestry Worker

Galashiels, Scottish Borders, Scotland.

We are looking for energetic, hardworking individuals to join our established forestry team based in Galashiels, Scottish Borders.

We are a small forestry company that specialise in Maintaining and Establishing forests primarily the Scottish Borders, also covering Dumfries and North of England.

The role will include:

· Tree Planting

· Chemical Spraying

· Stimming/Brush cutting

· Hand weeding

· Surveying

The ideal candidate would have some experience of horticulture or agriculture work although it is not necessary as full in-house training will be provided. Further training and certificates will be provided for the right candidate.

Essential Skills

· A positive mindset and willingness to work outside.

· Working as part of a team.

The job would be ideally suited to someone that enjoys working outside, has a positive attitude, always forward thinking and good time management.

Earnings based on Skills and Output of work: £24000 - £28000

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
