Our beautiful, cosy country style pubs should be where everyone feels instantly at home. Seriously good pub food and expertly curated drinks served by a friendly, knowledgeable team. So, for our guests a quick drink after work, catch up with friends, or special family meal is always a very welcoming escape. As a Chef & Brewer General Manager you should be friendly, authentic and passionate, as will need to use your natural confidence and leadership to develop an outstanding team that truly cares about the guest experience they deliver. You will be joining Greene King, with nearly 200 years of brewing experience - pubs are in our DNA. As a part of the largest Brewery & Pub Company, you'll have many opportunities to progress, and we'll support you every step of the way.

To join us previous success at a Senior management role is desirable. Strong branded experience in a customer focussed environment with a positive approach and a passion for food and drink is essential to success.

About the role

The Fox & Hounds is a picture box Chef & Brewer situated on the edge of the New Forest, in Dorset and close to major tourist attractions.

Its 80 cover dining room is continually busy but with potential still for growth. We also have a lovely pub and a large rear garden which is popular with families and locals.

We are looking for an experienced general manager from a branded background and who understands the complexity of a seasonal business the right person must visit the pub first before application.
