As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for leading our Front of House teams to be the best they can be - passionate & knowledgeable about our food, local ales and fine wines, as well as innovating ways to become the heart of their community. Our Assistant Managers come from many different backgrounds. Perhaps you are already a successful Assistant Manager in hospitality, retail or other fast paced industry, or an established team leader ready for the next step.

About the role

The Sportsman, Reading, needs a passionate AGM to join their team and help to maintain its fantastic reputation in the area. The site offers a brilliant sports vibe, whilst also being the place to go for Sunday lunches with the family. This is a great opportunity to come into a business and help the General Manager to build and expand further. We need an outspoken, friendly and highly motivated individual who is ready to learn, and would like to progress into a General Manager position in the future. We need talent so come and show us what you've got!
