About Us

Good Energy helps customers generate, share, store, use and travel with clean power. Our aim is to help one million homes and businesses cut their carbon by 2025. We are developing smart services to support customers to do more with their renewable energy.

We supply truly renewable electricity sourced from over 1,700 generators across the UK. Our tariffs are independently certified with the Uswitch Green Tariff Gold Standard and we are accredited as an Eco Provider by Which?

Now we’re in an exciting period of significant growth and development, after recently expanding our business to provide energy services, including installing heat pumps and solar panels.

We’re also a major investor in Zap-Map, the UK’s go-to electric vehicle charging app with more than half a million registered users.

Our customer service is rated ‘excellent’ on TrustPilot and according to Best Companies, we’re a ‘World Class’ employer — in the top 100 best large companies to work for in the country.

If you’re ready to make combatting the climate crisis your job, and believe in our values of being, fair, straightforward, determined, and inclusive, then we want to hear from you. Let’s power a cleaner, greener future together.

So, where do i fit in?

We’re implementing Zoho CRM across multiple areas of the business, specifically Marketing, Sales, Operations and Finance, within our energy services team, Good Energy - The Works. So far, we’ve been utilising a disconnected collection of tools but we’re looking to move as many of our business processes on to the platform as possible and have recently completed the transition to Zoho Desk.

Zoho will become the core platform that behind the scenes manages the customer journey from quote through to sale, installation and service. We’re now looking for a developer with extensive Zoho experience to help implement the relevant Zoho apps. There is already an extensive backlog to work through, which will evolve, grow and change over time as we look to continuously improve and optimise our ways of working

Accountabilities:
  • Implement and develop the following Zoho related apps, to deliver the business requirements - Desk, Lens, Inventory, Projects, Books, Analytics, Survey, Creator campaigns and marketing automation.

  • Creating, modifying and debugging bespoke scripts using Zoho Deluge language.

  • Design Zoho custom functions, processes, and automations and have a solid grasp of them.

  • Support the team in getting the best from these apps, to ensure we design and develop strong processes.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to build and develop the Zoho Creator application.

  • Provide on-going monitoring, responsive bug fixes and development.

  • Have I got what it takes?

We’re looking for an experienced Zoho developer who has extensive knowledge of the system and is passionate about driving improvements for the business.

  • You are a highly collaborative person who can communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally.

  • You’ll have in-depth knowledge of the Zoho products, their integrations, and other opportunities offered by the tool set.

  • A desire to continuously seek out improvements sourced from their own experience, suggestions from the team or good practice from the broader software development industry.

  • Proactive and solution oriented with a positive can-do attitude.

  • An inclusive place to work

We’re committed to being an inclusive employer and creating a fair workplace for all. We encourage applications from people across all backgrounds, circumstances, ages, disabilities, ethnicities, religions or beliefs, gender identities or sexual orientations.

We can offer reasonable adjustments as part of our recruitment process to anyone that needs them. If you would like to discuss anything, please let our team know.
