Goldmax Ltd is now a well-established groundworks and civil engineering company specialising in Groundworks, Basements and RC Frames. Our Head office is in Watford with sites throughout the south-east. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting Site Engineers to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Surveying site and Setting out of works
- Work with site team to advise on Sequence and Methodology
- Liaising with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate and current
- Overseeing quality control, QA procedures and documentation
- Resolving Technical Problems
- Ensure QA and As-built documentation is maintained and distributed in accordance with Quality management plan.
- Material take-off and timely material requisition and material delivery tracker.
- Ensure Projects are delivered Defect free.
- Temporary works co-ordination, Procurement, Delivery, Supervision of installation and Monitoring
- Track and communicate design changes to the team.
Experience:
- Proven experience setting out for groundworks, levels, deep drainage, highways, roads, 278 works and earthworks.
- Groundworks Experience within Basements, Infrastructure, Civil Engineering and Hard Landscaping is essential
- Experience in working on a variety of project types
- Experience in managing a multi-disciplined team
- Temporary Works experience
- Be proficient with a range of design software including AutoCAD
- Ability to deal with clients & internal staff
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, positive attitude and willing to learn
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
Requirements:
- Understand scopes of work and project requirements.
- Proof of right to work in UK
- Ambitious, Dedicated, Team player
- Excellent Communication Skills both written and verbal
- Good IT Skills
- Degree, HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent NVQ Level.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
- Temporary works co-ordinator - Preferable
- SMSTS - Preferable
- CSCS Level - Academically or Professionally Qualified Person/Supervisory/Manager
- Full Driving Licence

Salary: £207.98-£356.98 per day
