Manufacturing Operative - Derby
We are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to contribute towards Quadralene’s strategic vision. You will have the opportunity to make a difference by working as part of our Manufacturing team, responsible for the manufacture of our liquid products. You will collaborate with colleagues, to share, build together and meet our goals. As the Manufacturing Operative, you will be directly responsible for ensuring that all products are manufactured to specification and that health and safety and quality standards are maintained to the highest standards.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
- Using scales to accurately weigh raw materials for use in finished goods formulations
- Manual recording of supplier batch numbers
- Manual handling of raw materials (adhering to safety requirements)
- Mechanical handling of raw materials (adhering to safety requirements)
- Following prescribed method to mix raw materials to create finished goods
- Use of Internal Manufacturing IT program to prioritise and update progress of work
- Rotate raw materials using FIFO principles
- Accurate completion of batch records
- General housekeeping duties of own work area

Your experience includes:
- Reach Truck qualification preferred but not essential
- Ability to accurately follow written instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of small manufacturing team
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to follow safety instructions and work in a safe, compliant manner (chemical handling environment)
