MACHINE OPERATIVE - EDGEBANDER
£11.50- £13.00 per hour D.O.E
gap personnel are recruiting on behalf of our client, a kitchen manufacturer, based in Sherburn-in-Elmet LS25
The role requires previous experience operating an Edgeband machine in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Shifts: Monday to Friday 8.00- 4.30pm during training period.
6-2pm/ 2-10pm rotating weekly after training.
Pay Rate: £11.50 - £13.00 per hour dependant on experience.
Main Duties:
- Operating a machinery - Edgeband - IMA, MIESSE, HOMAG
- Feeding materials into the machine - wood panels
- Monitoring for quality
- Manage auto and manual infeed operations
- Work in line with Helath & Safety procedures and SSOWs
Skills Required:
- Experience operating edgeband machinery
- Background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to work under pressure
- Capability to manage own workload & prioritise effectively
- Excellent attention to detail & quality
