4 on 4 off 12 hour shift Days

We now have an exciting opportunity for an Security Receptionist to join the G4S team in securing the premises of one of our new aviation facilities in Biggin Hill. You will deal with high-end clients and vendors at the facility, so you will be the first person visitors meet on arrival this role is key to creating a professional and friendly atmosphere - from ensuring the reception area is presentable, to assisting with refreshments and ensuring requests are dealt with in a timely manner. The role will require you to perform general security duties alongside high-end customer service. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

Main Duties

• issuing visitor’s passes;
• handling telephone enquiries;
• customer support;
• internal and external patrols of the Site;
• access control alarm monitoring
• escorting visitors in restricted areas, as required
• To provide all general reception duties, as well as access and egress control
• Security duties-screening of passengers, physical searches bags and body and use of x-ray equipment.
• Creating passes and badges for staff and visitors
• Always work in line with the customer standards

The Ideal Candidate

You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights, and weekends. It would be a benefit to have some security experience, however, it’s not essential, as we provide full Aviation Security training.
