Manufacturing Technician
Consett, County Durham
Hours of work are 8.00am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
4 days located at 1 customer site, 1 day field-based work per week.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and action all activities required of the Fluid Management Service.
- Apply and change lubricants and fluids to agreed planned maintenance schedules
- Perform coolant and wash cleanouts weekly.
- Condition monitoring and control of fluids and plant equipment, and reporting using our company in- house system.
- Manage fluid waste streams to safe disposal off-site.
- Customer liaison and assisting in operational meetings.
- Follow strictly practices and procedures laid down including 5s and Health & Safety.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- The ideal candidate should be suitable qualified and have experience of working in a mechanical, chemical or production environment. This is a ‘hands on’ position and demands a willingness to be adaptable and flexible with the ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal supervision.
