Concierge Supervisor

Are you passionate about providing a superior level of personalised service by ensuring every need and desire of our guests is fulfilled? We are looking for a remarkable individual to join our dynamic Concierge team at the Fairmont St Andrews, one of Scotland’s most iconic 5 star luxury hotels and resorts in the home of golf.

Our 213 bedroom property is located on the outskirts of St Andrews, boasting 2 championship golf courses and an award winning spa and leisure facility. With multiple food and beverage venues on site, we are able to offer our guests a world class experience for dining and leisure activities, right here on property.

Our Front of House team are the greatest ambassadors for our resort, delivering a courteous and welcoming greeting to every guest who passes through our doors, and playing an integral part in their experience here at the Fairmont St Andrews and surrounding area.

What you will be doing:

  • Provide guidance and support to the team, mentoring and training colleagues in all aspects of job roles
  • Perform staff evaluations and coaching sessions. Provide feedback and coach employees on ways to improve their performance and achieve goals.
  • Establish, communicate and reinforce company policies, procedures and brand standards to drive quality and high standards of service
  • Create and distribute weekly staff schedules ensuring coverage for holidays, and sickness, covering shifts when required.
  • Work with Revenue Management team to drive revenue throughout the Hotel operation; Rooms, Food & Beverage, Golf, Spa, Activities
  • Establish and secure reliable and strong relationships with key businesses and accounts we work with, striving to develop new contacts and relationships to improve services provided by Concierge team
  • Develop/Manage Amenity programme at the resort, focussing on Accor members, VIPs and other distinguished guests
  • Develop and Maintain a strong activity offering for guests at the resort
  • Other duties as assigned by Concierge Manager

A core responsibility of your role will be in the management of the most VIP clientele at the Fairmont St Andrews. You will be at the forefront of their experience, managing pre arrival communication, overseeing their journey at the resort and ensuring they enjoy their time in St Andrews is both comfortable and enjoyable.
