We are looking for an energetic and driven Senior Systems Engineer to provide systems integration expertise into our expanding engineering team for a major UK client. This role represents a fantastic and rare opportunity to play a senior role in a design team, working on new and exciting international projects as part of a rapidly expanding organisation.

You will work collaboratively in a team of multi discipline engineers, subject matter experts and the customer to mature and develop creative solutions for our current and future clients. You will use your knowledge to drive innovative solutions through the design, build, integration and acceptance phases.
Responsibilities:
  • Working with the Principal Engineer and design team, maturing system architecture, interface definition / design and producing contract engineering deliverables.
  • Managing interfaces and trade-offs between systems, sub systems and functions.
  • Creating optimally compliant architectures and solutions in response to customer requirements, from concepts through to in-life support.
  • Leading the development, building, testing and trialling of solutions.
  • Contributing to the creation of high-quality design documentation.
  • Contributing to requirements analysis.
  • Participating in Validation, Verification,
  • Test and Acceptance activities.
  • Leading and inspiring junior engineers.
Qualifications:
  • Degree Qualified in an Engineering or STEM related field or HNC with appropriate level of experience.
Skills:
  • An experienced systems/software/hardware Integration Engineer
  • A proven track record of delivering systems into the UK MoD
  • Experience with platforms / servers including VMWare
  • Work collaboratively with the product and functional specialisms to deliver a cohesive solution for the customer.
  • Has an understanding of technical and project risks and is able to understand how these need to be managed

  • Management of self and workload to ensure on time delivery.
  • Conversant with Microsoft Office packages.
