Leading Hand - Decant PM

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring all KPI’s and productivity levels are maintained in line with company targets, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to, along with:

• Experience in leading and motivating staff.
• Being an excellent communicator and motivator with the ability to delegate and empower teams to achieve.
• Have the ability to lead a team to achieve KPI’s and objectives and ensure the site operates effectively and efficiently.
• Have the ability to co-ordinate work and allocate resources amongst the team.
• Experience in Warehouse Management Systems would be an advantage.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Being willing to work in all area’s of the warehouse and prioritise as per operational requirements.
• Commitment.
• Be able to cover the Supervisor role when required.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• Experience in a Warehouse environment within a Distribution background.
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to co-ordinate works and allocates resources amongst team.
• Commitment – sees the job through to completion.

SKILLS/ ABILITIES

• Team Leader skills, leading and motivating staff.
• An awareness of Health and Safety in the warehouse.
