Role Summary
The purpose of this role is to manage assigned business projects from initiation to completion, meeting or exceeding stakeholders agreed expectations and in line with the agreed client contract.
Business Function
MyCSP is one of the UK’s leading pension administrators. We are also one of the UK’s most efficient providers of outsourced services to both public and private sector organisations. One of MyCSP's largest clients is the Civil Service Pension scheme, with over 1.5 million members and 340 employers.
MyCSP is a unique business. We are a mutual joint venture partnership between employee partners, who own 25% of the company held in trust for them by MyCSP Trust Company Ltd, and our private sector partner and Equiniti’s pension business, Paymaster.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Full Project lifecycle experience.
- Track record of delivering to quality, scope, time, budget and commercial terms.
- Able to prioritise and manage project workload effectively.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent Communication and Influencing skills.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
- Resilience to cope with the pressure of enterprise wide implementation projects with a lifecycle of 6 to 12 months.
- Excellent analytical, numerical and logic skills.
- Able to develop effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
- Ensure all projects are managed in line with the project management framework, to deliver to agreed quality, scope, time, budget and commercial terms.
- Defining viable project objectives, scope and deliverables.
- Applying project lifecycle, methodology and processes effectively.
- Identifying and quantifying project risks and mitigating actions
- Managing allocated resources.
- Adhering to agreed reporting and governance frameworks.
- Completing post project reviews and documenting lessons learned.
- Work with Business Analysts and project teams to ensure coherent design and delivery.
- Preparation and maintenance of project documentation.
- Production of resource schedules and project billing forecasts.
- Ensuring accurate time recording and Financial Reporting.
- Management of project team communications and interfaces with client teams.
- Effective stakeholder engagement and management.
- Management of Change Control authorisation process.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the project management framework, processes and standards.
- Coaching and mentoring junior team members
