Machine Design Engineer
An exciting opportunity exists within our Technical Development department for a Machine Design Engineer who has proven experience with Autodesk Inventor and producing purpose-built automation machinery for accurate assembly and packaging.
The role of Design Engineer:
Designing of purpose-built machinery and modifications to existing equipment:
- Accurate mechanical assemblies.
- Structure and Guarding.
Detailing of manufacturing drawings:
- Tooling engineering drawings.
- Fabrication and sheet work drawings.
Project management:
- Bill of Materials.
- Assistance in compilation of Technical manuals.
The successful candidate:
- Must have previous experience with Autodesk Inventor and Vault.
- Purpose built machinery
- Ideally, hold an engineering or design engineering qualification.
Salary:
Up to £45,000.
Shift:
Monday to Thursday 8.30 to 17.00 Friday 8.30 to 16.00.
