Empire Communications is currently looking to add an experienced cable puller to our night team. This will be a self-employed position through the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
In your role you will be responsible for:
- Rod and roping long distances
- Cable pulling
- Working with the broader engineering communities to connect residential and business customers
- Following health & safety practices
You will have the following qualifications and be able to prove experience and competence:
- Must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months, with no more than 3 points on your licence in the last 5 years.
- Hold valid NRSWA
- Valid sa002 is not required but is a bonus
- Experience with TRR and cable pulling
- Risk assessment and hazard identification and a strong focus on Health and Safety practices.
- Be comfortable working outside in all weather
- Be comfortable working underground when required
- Live within a 10-15 mile radius of Watford
