Your role

Your mission as Junior Product Manager for Smart Systems is to help shape and deliver the SMART connected strategy of the Scientific vacuum division, reporting to and supporting the Global Product manager in delivering a connected portfolio. As a Junior Product manager you will learn the skills required to be a product manager, operating across many different areas of Atlas Copco. You will collaborate across teams within Scientific, cross divisionally, and cross brands. Specifically looking at:

  • You will support the Divisional strategy on communication protocols
  • You are helping in the development of target setting and specifications for customer software platforms
  • You are leading target setting, maintenance, and communication of internal software platforms
  • You create, maintain and push SMART accessories to sales and customers
  • You contribute to the SMART strategy and delivery of it including supporting in training, presentations and customer communications
  • You support scanning the market for new technologies and trends
  • You will occasionally travel nationally and internationally to support customer visits and trade shows visit

  • You have a bachelors or a masters degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business or equivalent through experience
  • You have 1+ years of experience in Industrial engineering or communications
  • Be self starting, able to identify gaps and opportunities and work towards them
  • You are a team-player and like to build your internal network
  • You can voice your opinions and are not afraid to question the status quo
  • You are fluent in English

We are a global team working in a hybrid model. We have offices in Germany, Czech Republic, and UK. You will be based in Burgess Hill, UK. #Li-hybrid
