This exciting new role has an important part to play in the ongoing transformation of Mental Health Services in Dorset. The WaRP co-run several projects including the Discovery Project, Recovery Education Centre, Retreats, Dorset Open Door and Dorset Work Matters.

This is a permanent position, 22.5 hours per week.

The purpose of this lead role is to provide clinical leadership for the Discovery Project and the ongoing development of Recovery-focused practice across Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). All this work is co-produced and co-delivered alongside Peer Specialists.

The primary focus of this role will be on the Discovery Project. They will: support the development and delivery of the Discovery Project work; be available to address any clinical issues that arise within the service; provide line management to the NHS Trainers; have a good understanding of the social model of disability and health inequalities; keep up to date with literature in regard to Recovery, including critiques of Recovery, and best available evidence in regard to supporting children and young people with mental health challenges.

The post holder will be required to provide some cross cover with the other Recovery Education Lead roles and at times deputise for the Lead for Recovery and Social Inclusion.
