Gardening Expert

Here are Dobbies we are thrilled to be opening our biggest ever Garden Centre in Antrim, opening in early October 2023. To help set our store up for success and deliver a great customer experience we are looking for an experienced Gardening Expert to join our brand-new team.

Our Gardening Experts will play a key role in the day to day running of our Horticultural department, supporting the management team in maintaining exceptional standards and meeting/exceeding our sales targets. They will be responsible for delivering an excellent customer experience including providing advice and guidance in relation to plant care and maintenance, core gardening products equipment. On a daily basis they will ensure that the look and feel or our department is kept as a great place for our customers to visit, coaching and inspiring the wider team on all things gardening.

We are looking for talent to join our team with interviews taking place in June and starting training in August.

• You are passionate about all things plant and delivering the best possible experience for our customers
• A team player and confident communicator who is eager to learn new skills and gain new experiences
• Naturally friendly person: our team members really enjoy what they do and who they work with
• Flourish in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Existing knowledge of plant care and gardening principles, with a horticultural qualification as desirable
