Production Manager – dnata Catering Glasgow
Are you a Production Manager looking to become part of a market leading global company where you will have the chance to oversee your own department playing a pivotal role in the company's success?
dnata Catering UK, the world’s largest inflight caterer has a fantastic opportunity to develop your career, where you will oversee the production and assembly of meals in line with scheduled activity and deadlines, and that the required food product is managed effectively to ensure that food quality standards are preserved at all stages of the production process.
With a background in a food production environment you will manage all aspects of this busy production department including stock control and waste management. You will plan and organise activities to meet your scheduled targets, whilst ensuring that production costs are achieved to target.
This role will mainly be Monday to Friday but candidates must be prepared to work weekends where necessary as they will be included in the weekend cover.
Ensuring compliance to legislative, customer and company standards is paramount. You will maintain best practice and review and monitor processes and action changes as necessary.
With a passion for staff development you will lead our team and coach and guide them to excel.
You will pride yourself on delivering our world famous 5* customer service, investigating issues when needed, and maintaining and developing relationships with our customers.
You will be a self-motivated, consistently professional individual who works well in a fast-paced environment and take pride in all you do. You strive to exceed your internal and external customers’ expectations and have a high level of attention to detail, alongside a methodical and logical approach to work.
