Position: Entry Business Support Maintenance Technician
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Location: Wisbech - PE14 0SE
Salary & any shift premiums:
Shift patterns: Day time only
Work pattern: 37.5 hrs a week
Salary : £26,500 - £34,500 depending on experience
Closing Date: 28th April 2023

Purpose of the role

To ensure the infastructure on site is maintaned to statutory and DHL standards. To support Engineering to meet production targets and customer requirements through providing fabrication, monitoring and maintenance as and when required. for more deatils see below

General accountabilities

• Provide Fabrication, monitoring and maintenance
• Assist Guttering and unclogging in rainy seasons
• Assist in pipe work, De- clogging and fixing
• Become an on site service person
• Shift gravel and work on site car parks and around the work areas
• Responsible for maintaining and complying with Health & Safety standards thereby minimising the risk to themselves and others.
• Understand and comply with all relevant company site rules, agreements, policies and quality procedures.
• To ensure the safe, efficient and effective methods of problem solving, repair, maintenance and rectification techniques.
• In the absence of the Engineering Management team, make yourself accountable and available to the relevant Production Manager.

Person specification:

• NVQ level 2 in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or Apprenticeship - desirable but not required.
• some one with wiliness to learn and not be afaird of the hard worK (Training will be provided)
• Are flexible in approach to work, and work effectively as part of a team, providing support in resolving problems and have a can do, right first time and passionate approach
