Shifts: This role will operate over two alternating shifts. The early shift - Monday to Friday 6.00am to 2.00pm and the afternon shift - Monday to Thursday 2.00pm to 12.20am.
Salary: £21,840 per annum

*A bit about the role*
We're looking for a Warehouse Assistant / FLT Driver to join our fast paced Manufacturing team at our Northern Uph manufacturing site on a Permanent basis. A Warehouse Assistant / FLT Driver is a role to start building a rewarding career and making yourself at DFS. You will play an important role in ensuring either raw materials are readily available and unloaded from our inbound logistics teams or making sure that manufactured products are loaded safely and in a timely manner for our dispatch teams to deliver to our customer distribution network.
You will learn the processes of the factory and the materials that are needed to manufacture our furniture. This role will require you to ensure that materials and products are available throughout our factory so will require manual lifting and a full forklift truck license (this needs to be an externally recognised qualification as oppose to inhouse).

This role suits people who enjoy working in a fast paced environment and have a forklift truck license. You will also be capable of manual lifting.
