Match Day Security - SIA LICENSED SECURITY - DOOR SUPERVISOR

D C Event Services Ltd are an Event Security Organisation based in Manchester and West Yorkshire, who provide SIA Licensed and Non-Licensed Safety Stewards to some of the UKs largest Events/Venues, Festivals and Football / Rugby stadiums.

We are currently recruiting ad hoc SIA Licensed Staff and Safety Stewards on a casual basis to join our expanding team on a Self Employed basis for upcoming events.

We are seeking casual Events Stewards and SIA licensed Security to assist with our operations team to make matchday experiences as smooth as possible for the supporters.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• To ensure the health, safety and welfare of all persons attending an event to which you are assigned.
• Your basic duties will be screening a person’s suitability to enter the event or venue, showing people to seats, advising on ground/event regulations, providing assistance as required, tearing tickets, checking wristbands, ejecting troublesome persons or those not complying with health & safety or other regulations or reasonable requests.
• Providing a security presence to prevent and detect crime within a designated area
• Monitor the crowd within the Stadium and update Control Room to reduce the risk of crowd related incidents
• Ensure that all entrances and exits are kept clear, Ensure that vomitories' and stairwells are kept clear.
• Assist to maintain a segregation line as required.
• Identify and investigate any incident involving Spectators and update a Supervisor with result
• Assist as required in the evacuation of the Stadium.

Candidates MUST:

• Be Self Employed and over 18 as per stadium requirements
• Be Reliable, smart and professional at all times
• Have excellent written English and communication skills.

It would be beneficial if you have your own transport, however not essential. If you are applying for a stewards position, no experience is necessary and training is provided on the job.
