Data & AI Ethics Analyst - J12482 - Up to £76000, London/Hybrid
We are working with one of the UK's largest Digital, Retail and Commercial banks who realise their data is a significant business differentiator and plays a pivotal role in achieving our sustainable growth ambitions.
They are looking for further sophisticated approaches to utilise data to interact with and service their customers backed with a £3bn investment programme.
To support, advise and participate in Squads to create Ethics technologies and processes.
Including implementing data and artificial intelligence, ethic controls across the group.
You'll be designing and building ethical workflows, technology and governance processes to ensure manage and control for ethical risks. Working collaboratively to mentor, support, and challenge on Data risk related as well as:-
- Implementing Ethics-as-a-Service within across all divisions
- Extending Ethical Impact Assessment and Data Science Life-cycle
- Implementation of ML Ops best practice on collaboration with Data Scientists
- Causal reasoning and Counterfactual fairness
- Shapley and LIME approaches to Explainability
- Pareto optimisation
- Model cards and their application
- Human-centered design and UX skills
- Statistical measures of fairness and their relationship with socio-technical concerns
- Development skills preferred in using ML toolkits (e.g. Jupyter, scikit-learn, Pandas, PyTorch, Tensorflow/Keras), as well as fairness toolkits (e.g. VertexAI, IBM AIF360 etc)
- Preferably from a Banking/Finance background, having worked alongside, Risk Control and/or Risk Model Validation teams
