Introduction
We are looking for Consultants and Specialists to support customers across all aspects of the Supply Chain and help guide the delivery of critical UK defence programmes.
You will be working directly with customers in a consultative position to support their suppliers and delivery teams across the lifecycle of projects and contracts.
My client is a leading Consultancy who supply their customers with niche procurement and commercial services across the defence space. You will be required to hold an active SC or DV Clearance to be considered for this role.
As my client are a consultancy, there is an expectation for candidates to travel to customer sites across the UK when required, but you will have a base location of Bristol, Plymouth, Cardiff, or London and will have the opportunity for remote working days in this role.
Key responsibilities
- Provide support across Supply Chain acquisitions and activities
- Support the wider Supply Chain business strategy
- Support on customer engagements and/or supplier relationship meetings
Skills & experience
- A current MCIPS certification or willing to undergo this
- Strong experience across one or more of the following:
- Procurement, Sourcing
- Category management
- Contract management
- Supply Chain management
- Commercial management experience
- Strong consultancy or stakeholder management experience is a must
