Custodia Technology is a leading vendor-independent global financial compliance technology expert business focused on the financial trading markets. Currently based in New York, London and Cheshire. Custodia Technology works with customers to design & deliver strategies and solutions enabling technology transformation across the entire communications compliance technology landscape. Custodia leads the way, as the only truly independent specialist provider of compliance technology solutions to the banking and finance industry.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a UI/UX Frontend Developer based at our Knutsford, Cheshire office due to the rapid growth of Custodia. As a UI/UX Frontend Developer, you will play an active part in the success of the company. This role is varied and will see you taking on multiple responsibilities including driving innovation, probing new technologies, shaping the department best practices and working on enterprise grade software systems with cutting-edge technologies. This would suit someone who is looking to work in an exciting and agile environment that offers variety and the ability to make a genuine impact on the business.

Responsibilities:

· Utilize a broad range of UX tools and techniques to deliver high-quality UX/UI designs and implement user interfaces for our products.

· Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product manager, BA and developers to create and implement designs.

· Work closely within the development team to integrate frontend code with backend logic ensuring a seamless design-to-development handoff.

· Create wireframes, prototypes and mock-ups, and implement design features for front-end development.

· Conduct usability research and interpret results to ensure that the user experience is intuitive and seamless.

· Ensure compliance with accessibility best practices (incl. web accessibility standards (WCAG)

Requirements:

· Expertise on writing clean and efficient code using HTML, TypeScript, and React

· Experience as a service, UX, product, or UI developer

· High level of innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills

· Thorough technical understanding of inclusive design frameworks

· Knowledge of best practices and emerging digital technologies and trends

· Wide range of experience in user-centered design, usability, and accessibility best practices

· Methods and practices of usability research and confidence in conducting research and interpreting results.

Minimum Requirements:

· 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design and development

· College or University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

Core Competency Requirements:

· Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in UX/UI design and development

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a keen eye for detail and a focus on delivering high-quality work

· Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment

· Experience with agile development methodologies including Kanban and Scrum

· Knowledge of Microservices and distributed application frameworks

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £35,000 - £50,000 per year
