Foiling Manager
About the company:
A leading supplier of the highest quality printed cartons are currently seeking a Foiling Manager who will report to the Senior Production Manager. The successful candidate will oversee foiling activities to ensure quality and analyse and improve processes, productivity and efficiency.
The role
Working 7.5-hour days, Monday-Friday.
- Oversee Foiling activities to ensure quality.
- Review products, processes and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made.
- Identify and investigate problems and recommend corrective action.
- Ensure that all company and departmental policies and procedures are properly communicated and enforced.
- Support Administrative tasks within the Production Office as required
- Own the inspection and sign-off process of Foil dies and work with Foiling Operators to ensure that Quality Standards are maintained.
- Maintain inventory in Foiling Unit, ensuring that all materials are ordered to facilitate production in this area as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience managing a successful team.
- Previous Foil Blocker experience would be an advantage.
- Good understanding of systems management.
- Experienced with working with spreadsheets and databases.
- Microsoft Excel proficient.
- Excellent attention to detail.
