We are currently seeking a talented Cook to join our amazing team at Highland Safaris.
As a cook, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of our kitchen and be responsible for ensuring that our high standards of food preparation and presentation are maintained.
About you:
- You’ll have previous experience in a similar role
- You’ll have a Food Hygiene certificate and you will demonstrate best practice at all times
- You’ll work well in a fast-paced kitchen
- You'll be friendly and approachable
- You will be able to commute to Highland Safaris.

- Starting pay rate of £11 per hour,
- 40 hr permanent contract

Key tasks:
- Working and communicating with the HS Café Team Leader, to implement Café Menus.
- Assist with menu planning ensuring KPIs for stock levels are maintained
- Delivering first class food production and presentation in keeping with our 5 star status
- Maintain Food Safety protocols in accordance with guidelines.
- Oversee and adhere to the schedules for cleaning, food and equipment checks
- Support and Train kitchen helpers so that high standards of food production and presentation are maintained.
- Effectively communicate with Café management team.
General Accountability:
- Knowledge and awareness of all HS products to promote sales across the HS brand
- Provide cover to other business areas, for example Front of House at HS Cafe, as business demands dictate.
