About Us

The Wellbeing and Public Health Team service is part of Cornwall Council. We are passionate about improving health and reducing inequalities for the people of Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. We work closely with other services in the Council and with a range of local partner organisations.

As part of a wide range of public health interventions, we have been working to reduce fuel poverty for over a decade through a pioneering and award-winning winter wellbeing programme and a series of programmes to improve the energy efficiency of Cornwall and Isles of Scilly’s homes. This work is even more important now given the current energy costs, risk to health and the need to move towards carbon neutral.

  • Excellent project management skills
  • Experience of partnership working
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent facilitation and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data and information and present information clearly and succinctly both verbally and in written form
