Connect and Care are a charity that are passionate about providing a high quality of home care services in the Salisbury.
We only cover central Salisbury, so minimal driving/distance between clients. We pay the HMRC rate for travel.
We are currently closed to Licence Applications
We are currently looking for caring individuals with a passion for caring to join our team.
No experience required as full training will be provided.
New carers will be able to shadow experienced staff to start with as they learn the job, receiving practical training and undergoing learning online as they progress.
An opportunity to study for a Care Certificate is available after undergoing the first 6 months training.
We would love to hear from you if you have experience and training in this profession or if you are passionate about caring for others and starting a new career in care.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To work with vulnerable adults and their families in their own homes and offer practical and emotional support to them
- To give personal care to individuals, e.g. getting them up in the morning, assisting them with washing, preparing food and shopping
- Develop support plans in response to their individual needs
- Support adults to take part in activities outside their home that will enrich their lives and contribute to their well being
- Take part in the planning and reviewing of care plans
- Develop a knowledge and understanding of local resources and services
- Ensure work is carried out in accordance with policies and procedures
- Attend team meetings and supervision sessions.

- Mileage paid at HMRC rate of 45p per mile
