We are seeking an Account Manager who is responsible for ensuring that client needs are met while working collaboratively with the Advisor to achieve the highest level of client service. The Account Manager manages and nurtures client relationships and collaborates with the Advisor and other internal partners to provide prompt, accurate, professional services to our clients to maintain and grow their book of business in our Gibraltar location at Clements Worldwide.

Salary Range: £30K - £35k, Full-time (35 hours weekly) - Salary

Hybrid Position: Two days in Gibraltar office, three days fully remote

Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

  • 2+ years experience in Account Management for Commercial Insurance (CI)
  • capacity to be in the Gibraltar office two days a week or as needed
  • legal right to work in the Gibraltar

It will be great if you happen to have these qualifications:

  • certificate in insurance (Cert CII)
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to travel domestically and internationally when needed
  • ability to provide high-level customer service to clients, while being attuned to cultural differences
  • self-motivated and ability to work under minimal supervision
  • excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others at all levels
  • resourceful, proactive, excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • good critical thinking skills with the ability to effectively resolve problems
  • knowledge of EPIC systems
  • experience in the International Insurance field

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

  • respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings while demonstrating the highest level of client service and professionalism
  • effective ownership of a book of business, ensuring maximum retention and keeping accurate and detailed records
  • manage the renewal process to include obtaining required information from the insured, obtaining quotes from and negotiating with carriers, reviewing of policy terms and conditions, producing policy comparisons, working with client to ensure their needs are met and managing their expectations, checking policies for accuracy, timely policy issuance
  • maintain up to date reports of account status (including status of renewals, activities, booked, and to-be booked policies)
  • partner with Billing Specialist to ensure accounts are current on Aged Receivables by following Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and cancellation processes
  • understand and adapt to the uniquely combined carrier and agency mentality of our business model
  • identify gaps in exposures and partner with Advisor to round out accounts
  • partner with Advisor on accounts to provide organisational and technical support
  • complete monthly, quarterly &/or annual audits in a timely fashion per the terms set forth by underwriting (policy specific)
  • participate in client meetings and attend to client needs
  • manage all changes affecting insurance coverage on client accounts
  • market and present new products to existing clients
  • utilise and maintain the agency management systems (EPIC) per the department's SOP to provide an excellent customer experience and prevent Errors and Omissions (E&O)
  • travel both domestically and internationally when needed
  • other related duties as assigned
