YOUR ROLE

Our site in Desford is looking for experienced or newly qualified Class 1 Driver to join their team. This would an ideal opportunity for someone who is dedicated and hard working to come into a permanent full-time position and help CEVA Logistics continue to deliver a first-class service.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

You will be expected to start your journey at 23:00/00:00 and the shifts are roughly 9 hours long, dependent on the amount of drops on route. The role will involve large amounts of manual labour, loading and unloading cages containing car-parts for our high profile customer. You will be driving an Arctic vehicles box trailer lorry to up to 6 customer lock-up sites per night.

Other job responsibilities will include:

• 
  Carrying out daily vehicle checks
• Oversee and check the safe loading of your vehicle
• Working to customer deadlines to ensure all goods are delivered on time and to the correct locations
• Completing any necessary associated paperwork
• Delivering a first-class service

The pay rate for this role is up to £42,626.48. This includes an annual £1040 attendance allowance and an annual unsocial premium payment of £4446 (£2.85 per hour).

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• A fantastic work ethic and attitude towards work
• In-date Class 1 Driver License with no more than 6 points
• Full CPC qualification
• Tachograph Card
