The post-holder for this role will report to the Head of Marketing.
Role overview
The post-holder for this role will be a crucial member of the marketing team, responsible for working with the Head of Marketing, Senior Product Marketing Manager and Senior Digital Marketing Manager to create an engaging and innovative content and design strategy to
demonstrate and better explain the USPs of each school through targeted campaigns and materials.
The post-holder for this role will know our schools and programmes like the back of their hand and run engaging campaigns to articulate the USPs and nuances of our offering to our audiences. The post-holder will need to build positive relationships with our Senior Leadership
Team and Academic Leadership Teams to fully convey to our sales team, partners, prospective students, and their parents the value of our offering.
The post-holder for this role is also responsible for managing a team of creative staff (2 content specialists and 1 Design Manager) in conceptualising creative campaigns, content and designs.

Stakeholder Management
  • Build positive relationships with school Principals and their Academic Leadership Teams to gather content needed for campaigns
  • Manage creative agencies and freelancers in aid of producing content
  • Take direction and support ideation for marketing priorities from the Head of Marketing and Marketing Director
  • Facilitate and lead ideation sessions with multiple departments during campaign conception

Campaign Management
  • Devise content and campaign strategy to demonstrate and better explain the USPs of our schools and programmes in market
  • Plan and commission the creation of engaging content, from blog posts, social media content, videos, student testimonials, etc.
  • Manage the production of the annual prospectuses
  • Manage ad hoc design requests to in-house Graphic Designer
  • Support the Content Specialist with social media content and campaigns
  • Support the Design Manager with the design and print schedule
  • Engage key stakeholders to find and create rich stories and content
  • Share planned and published content with our sales team and internal stakeholders

Content Creation
This role is hands-on in its approach and as such requires the Creative Marketing Manager to be involved in content creation process. Responsibilities may include to:
  • Plan and create engaging social media content
  • Write informative and engaging blog posts and student testimonials
  • Write and send email campaigns
  • Produce and execute video content for student testimonials, animations, etc
  • Organise photography for events and social media content
  • Engage key stakeholders to find and create rich stories and content
  • Share planned and published content with our sales team and internal stakeholders
  • Organise webinars
  • Proofread web and print material

Other Responsibilities
  • Manage re-branding, redesign logo, and document branding projects, standards and guidelines
  • Support Digital Marketing Manager for effective web page designs and layouts
  • Conceive and write print, digital and social advertising
  • Contribute to product development and propose campaigns to enrich our offering
  • The post-holder may be required to support other activity outside of this job specification on occasion

Person Specification
  • Experience in delivering successful multi-channel content-focused campaigns
  • Ability to produce high quality and engaging content
  • Excellent communication skills, especially the use of appropriate language, correct grammar and spelling
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Effective prioritisation and attention to detail, whilst working to multiple and tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage a creative team and their workload
  • Excellent experience in using InDesign, Photoshop & Premiere Pro Person Behaviours
  • Creativity - The person for this role needs to have enthusiasm and the ability to think outside of the box! They will need to be able to work with students and members of staff and add value to the project that they are working and help showcase their hard work on social media and through paid advertorials.
  • Collaborative skills - The post-holder for this role will have to collaborate with multiple teams across the business. They will need excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Communication skills - The ability to speak and write to a high standard is crucial. You will have to present new products and write engaging copy, telling the ‘story’ of products, for various marketing channels.
