Encompassing makeup, skincare and fragrance, BY TERRY is stocked in more than 20 markets and represented in some of the world's most prestigious stores, including Harrods, Selfridges, Space NK & Sephora.
By Terry has an exciting opportunity to appoint a Visual Merchandising Designer – Intern reporting to the Global Visual Merchandising Coordinator & Global Visual Merchandising Senior Manager.
Responsibilities
VM team mission: to deliver a retail experience in-line with the marketing strategy and act as a visual guardian of the brand. Initiate creative ideas and ensure deadlines are delivered on-time and within budget.
- Aid the Visual Merchandising team by creating design proposals and technical layouts 2D/3D for all markets. (InDesign, Illustrator & Sketchup experience required)
- Support the Marketing and Retail teams to implement strong design and creative solutions globally
- Support on design process from start to finish: concept ideation/ delivery/installation
- Communicate closely and maintain relationships with our supplier network
- Ensure visual consistency and maximise visual clarity & impact on POS
- Support the VM Coordinator in creation of planogram information for all axes (IWD software)
- Management of VM stock database, including creation of new references
- Assist with the raising of POs and maintenance the PO tracker
- Support with store visits and assist with new launch implementation in UK
- Monitor competitor activity
Skills and experience required
- Preferred Diploma / degree in Design, Visual Merchandising, Visual Communication, Art/Design or similar
- Fluent in the Adobe Suite (especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Proficiency in 3D Sketchup
- Fluent in the Microsoft suite of programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in cosmetic retail environment is an advantage

Fixed term contract: 6 months

Job Types: Full-time, Internship
Salary: £20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
