Locations: London, Birmingham, Manchester, Bristol

About the role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to deliver Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with market leading technology in BT. We need to deliver a great customer experience across BT Enterprise and using RPA helps to free up our people from high volume repetitive tasks, so they can focus on the things that really matter to our customers. We also need to ensure that we’re operating efficiently and evolving our service model to embrace the opportunities automation offers. RPA has an important role to play

What you’ll be doing:
  • Working closely with subject matter experts across the business, you’ll fulfil a Business Analyst / Process design type role, within an RPA context.
  • You’ll help to discover and qualify internal processes that make good candidates for RPA, are supported by a robust business case and are aligned to wider Enterprise strategy and priorities.
  • You’ll capture requirements, map business processes and convert them into RPA process design documentation, highlighting opportunities to improve or adjust the process, to better fit an RPA solution.
  • You’ll follow the RPA delivery lifecycle and produce high quality, standardised documentation to support the delivery of automations.
  • You’ll build and maintain solid relationships with project sponsors, process owners, subject matter experts, sales enablement teams and all key projects stakeholders, with a keen focus on transparency and great communication, often acting as a conduit between these stakeholders and the RPA Developer.
  • You’ll provide project and program management support for the E2E delivery of our automations, facilitate operational readiness and ensure projected benefits are realised after launch.
  • You’ll contribute to the evolution of our service through maintaining and improving our live automations, measuring the impact of any automation changes on process efficiency and customer experience.
  • You’ll drive process excellence through BI analysis, insights and recommendations to Operational Leads.
  • You’ll bring new ideas to the table on how we can optimise our own efficiencies, improve our discovery and design engagement and broaden our pipeline of opportunity.
  • You will be willing to learn new intelligent automation technologies and help shape the Enterprise automation strategy going forward.

What skills and experience you’ll need:
  • Skilled in Business Analysis and Business Improvement tools, techniques and methodologies. Able to formulate and manage a business case for automation, calculate and track automation benefits.
  • Skilled in Business Process Modelling tools, techniques and methodologies. Able to understand the as-is state, define the to-be state and identify improvement opportunities
  • Accomplished program or project manager, with great communication skills and comfortable managing a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A proven technical and logical mindset, with the ability to understand and apply complex automation solutions.
  • Mandatory – Relevant experience as a Process Designer, Business Analyst or Business Improvement
  • Mandatory – Program and Project Management with strong experience of building and sustaining effective and trusted relationships with project stakeholders of all levels.
  • Preferred – A basic knowledge of RPA technology, principles, methodology and tool sets, especially Blue Prism.
  • Preferred – Experience delivering process improvements in a technical and digital context, using automation solutions.

Benefits:
  • Competitive salary
  • 10% on target bonus
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays
  • Pension scheme (5% from you, 10% from BT)
  • Flexible benefits
  • Employee discounts (50% off EE for you, 30% off EE for friends & family and discounted BT broadband & TV)
