We’re investing in building a first-class product team and are looking for a talented Digital Platforms Technology Specialist to join us.

What you’ll do:

  • Day to day management and execution of configuration, database and application changes to support Business As Usual (BAU) airline operations (e.g. Set up new routes, enable wayfinding, support ancillary changes, manage product attributes)
  • Work across multiple Digital domain and technology areas to ensure the efficient analysis, triage and resolution of faults and incidents reported to the Digital team
  • Support the Digital Platform Operations Team Lead/IAG Tech in the handling of critical operational incidents and CR/Legal queries
  • Coordinate the delivery of ad hoc initiatives that improve our ability to operate and manage our Digital channels. e.g. Improving operating models with IT, delivering proofs of concepts

What you will bring to the team:

  • Experience of working with large scale transactional/eCommerce web sites and the associated development, operational and support processes
  • A proven track record of delivering and/or operating/supporting online technology solutions

  • Great knowledge of software delivery lifecycles, architecture or delivery methodology
  • Clear communication skills when delivering your points of view through data, insight and commercial impact
  • A positive attitude in the face of uncertainty and an ability to take clear decisions in a fast-moving and pressurised environment.

What British Airways can offer you?

  • A competitive salary commensurate to your experience.
  • A commitment to helping you grow, challenge yourself & progress professionally. We have set up clear career pathways and mentoring programmes to support you in achieving that.
  • Flexible on working locations, with a Central London base alongside our head office near Heathrow.
  • Travel benefits and discounts for friends & family.
