An opportunity has arisen to work in this key specialised statutory position within Electoral Services and the Register Office.
You will be assisting in the delivery of statutory elections and the compilation of the Register of Electors and, under the leadership of the Superintendent Registrar, register births, deaths and marriages/civil partnerships.
This is a varied, fulfilling role dealing with the public and being the face of the council through key stages of the life of Bristol’s citizens – births, deaths, marriages and elections.
Across the two areas you would be expected to provide efficient and effective high quality administrative support to the experienced team which would involve processing applications, answering queries and dealing with a variety of stakeholders including politicians, election staff, the electorate and citizens of the city.
Ideally you will be confident and driven, with a proven ability to deliver first rate customer service with a keen interest in the statutory registration process that this role provides.
