About the role

With over 40,000 businesses visiting the Booker website every week and the site generating over £2.5bn worth of sales we are keen to develop and improve our online proposition to our 550k registered Caterers and Retailers. As a Website Marketing Content Coordinator, primarily responsible for the development of the internal website, you will work within an enthusiastic team dedicated to developing an exciting area of the business. As someone that takes pride in delivering excellent online imagery and editorial content you will take the time to understand and think about the needs of our colleagues and customers; bringing to life online the vision and initiatives set by our HR, Retail and Catering teams.

You will be responsible for
  • Managing and scheduling HR content on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Using a bespoke content management system (site-core) to build, schedule and remove content on websites.
  • Producing accurate and timely analytical information for stakeholders
  • Producing recommendations based on the analysis of the analytical data
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and external design agencies for web and email content
  • Implementing design and creative briefs for website for our online Retailers, Colleagues, Caterers and Small Businesses,
  • Ensuring brand adherence, consistency of key messages, and focus on agreed initiatives and activity by the HR, retail, catering, small business and supplier media teams
  • Supporting and assisting the wider digital team on other duties as and when required

You will need

.To be successful in this role you will need to display a genuine interest in the web and be customer focused. With a creative background you must possess good organisational and communication skills, a self-starter with a positive attitude and a keen eye for attention to detail. You should be comfortable working in a pressurised environment with tight deadlines. You will be adaptable and committed to self-development and assist the digital team in administering, maintaining, and developing the company websites with the aim of delivering a better user experience for our customers and colleagues.
Ideal candidates must have some experience with adobe software (Photoshop and Indesign), will need to be PC literate with a good understanding of MS Office, in particular PowerPoint and Excel, coupled with the ability to think logically and to demonstrate and apply commercial awareness to any task. If you are a self-starter with the willingness to learn and the drive to achieve and develop within a role that is challenging and will develop and grow with the function, then this is the opportunity for you.
