CES Operations Technician

What you will enjoy doing

• You will carry out planned maintenance on plant equipment in accordance with scheduled work orders, causing as little disruption as possible to site operations
• Diagnosing faults and repairing plant equipment in response to breakdowns is required
• Furthermore, you will be installing and commissioning new plant and equipment is part of this role
• You will also monitor and supervise contractors, apprentices and trainees
• Sourcing and purchasing parts, equipment and workshop materials
• In addition, you will participate as required in site and departmental activities including, but not limited to; Risk Assessments, Planned General Inspections, Problem solving and Improvement Groups Monitoring and assisting trainee staff Subgroups
• Each Technician will be qualified and specialize in one of the disciplines (mechanical, electrical or instrument) but will undertake a variety of work across the disciplines, consistent with their competence
