Blackpoint Media is an emerging content creation agency based just outside of Peterborough in the historic market town of Market Deeping. Our team has grown quickly and we're now looking for a full-time Animator/Video Editor to join the team and help produce content for our range of exciting brands.

What you will be doing...
We are looking for someone to fill the role of Animator/Video Editor. You will be working alongside our team of Photographer/Videographers to help conceptualise, produce and and edit a range of video content across our numerous brands.
The salary will be based off your experience and skill set, but the role is open to both junior applicants looking for a start in the industry, as well as experienced editors seeking an exciting new opportunity.
Working environment
We're a small, close-knit team that operates on mutal trust and support. Although we take our work seriously, we defintely don't take ourselves too seriously - we want to operate in a fun, positive and lighthearted working environment.
As a member of the team, you'll be given the reposnsibility to manage our own working hours, as we understand that life doesn't always fit to a 9-5 working day. Ultimately, our goal is to forge a team that'll be able to grow with the company and in return the company will provide opportunities for your own career progression.
What is required from you...
Your core skills must include:
- An up-to-date portfilio that displays both your animation and editing abilities.
- Good knowledge of, and experience using, Adobe Creative Cloud software, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop etc.
- Exceptional communication, organisational and customer service skills.
- Must be driven, truthworthy and motivated.
- Able to work both independantly and as part of a team.
Addtional skills that would add further value to your application include:
- Knowledge of 3D animation/modeling, with an up-to-date portfolio that would demonstrate your abilities.
- Experience in capturing video and/or photos, with a portfolio that accurately demonstrates your abilities and style.
- The ability to confidently write scripts or blog posts, with examples that demonstrate your skill level.
- Any history with sales/marketing/advertising.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms, most notably for YouTube, TikTok and Instagram.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
