Due to the promotion of our existing post holder, this is an exciting opportunity to join our

happy school where ‘Staff feel valued and are highly positive about leaders’ and where ‘Leaders work closely with families to make sure that pupils are happy and thriving’ (Ofsted December 2022)

Governors are seeking to appoint someone to be responsible for the organisation and delivery of quality parent support advice who will meet the needs of all children and families.

This is a well-established role, and we are seeking someone who will continue to build good working relationships with our families using a non-judgemental approach. You will provide support to families through the CAF process or by sign posting them to other agencies.

This key worker will work closely with the SENCO and SLT and facilitate group activities such as workshops and parenting courses. A background in social work or mental health care would be advantageous as would previous work with external agencies.

Minimum requirement of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification and relevant experience is essential (see job description and person spec).

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.

Informal visits can be made by appointment with the school office, typically at 10am or after school at 4.00pm on 27 and 29 March 2023.

How to apply

Application forms can either be downloaded from our school website or they can be requested from school on 0121 360 4222.

Should you have any queries please contact the school office via email. enquiry@beechesinf.bham.sch.uk or telephone 0121 360 4222.
