Café Supervisor, Guildford (own transport needed due to location)

Days Worked: Friday and either a Saturday or Sunday as a minimum

Hours worked: 11.30am to 9.30 pm during the week and 8.30 am to 7.00pm on Saturday or 9.30am to 6.30pm on Sunday

Salary:negotiable, depending on experience

Based:Slyfield Industrial Estate, own transport needed due to location.

Bart’s Caféis a small, independently run family business located inside Blue SpiderClimbing Centre. Built right next to the climbing area at Blue SpiderGuildford, Bart’s Café serves as the Centre’s social hub. We offer a full menu of coffees and teas as well as soft drinks, sandwiches and cakes. We make all our cakes on premises and ensure that everything we serve is of excellent quality.

We are looking for a part-time/ full-time Café Supervisor to work in our café

The role entails making food and drink to high standards and also serving customers with a smile ensure great customer service at all times. The role will also include other duties such as cleaning tables & kitchen, pot wash and food preparation (including baking). We make food fresh so candidates will expect to learn food preparation to our standard. Our weekends are particularly busy with kids clubs and children birthday parties therefore you will be working alongside our lovely ad hoc baristas ensuring that the café is run efficiently. We envisage that after the initial induction and training on the job, you will be in charge of the café 2 -3 days a week, one of which will be either Saturday or Sunday.

The ideal candidatewill have previous experience working at a cafe at a supervisory level; ishard working, friendly and will have excellent problem solving skills. We are looking for someone with relevant experience gained in a similar role. Passion for coffee and food, great personal skills, reliability and positive can do attitude is also a must. You must have your own transport due to our location.
