All About the Role
Based at our Scunthorpe Site, we have 2 vacancies for Warehouse/Machine Operatives- the rotating shift hours are Monday to Friday 6 am to 2pm, Monday to Friday 2 pm to 10pm and then Sunday to Friday 10 pm to 6 am.

The purpose of these roles is to ensure customers’ orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment whilst adhering to all required Health & Safety procedures. Specific tasks could include:

• Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large items
• Accurately record stock movement and usage, along with product identification and use of measuring equipment.
• Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team and on your own.
• Operate bandsaws, drills, and handle steel
• Transferring stock to its location using a Forklift trucks
• Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers’ orders.
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety.
• Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements
• Work well in a team environment

Essential Skills for the role:

• The successful candidate will ideally have experience with bandsaws/similar machinery
• Be mechanically minded.
• Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment.
• Ideally have operated Fork-Lift or Side-loader.
• Health & Safety awareness.
